Dow Jones Newswires: Riot Blockchain CFO Jeff McGonegal to retire

0

Riot Blockchain, Inc. on Wednesday said Jeff McGonegal, chief financial officer, will retire from that position, effective Aug. 15.

McGonegal will move into a new role as senior adviser. He is expected to remain employed by Riot through Feb. 7, 2023 to ensure a smooth transition, Riot said.

McGonegal will be succeeded as CFO by Colin Yee, head of Corporate & Financial Operations, who joined Riot in April, the company said.

Also on Wednesday, Riot said Ryan Werner, formerly vice president of finance, was promoted to senior vice president and chief accounting officer.

I’ve found that a financial adviser can easily cost $5,000 a year. Is paying an adviser really worth this kind of money?
